There's more Càrn Mòr incoming! Morrison Distillers' recently updated Càrn Mòr range has been a smash hit with our customers, so we’re delighted to announce that we’ll have a raft of their latest new releases landing on our virtual shelves in the near future.
There’s really something for everyone with this batch of Càrn Mòr releases - here’s a teaser of what to expect.
Càrn Mòr Strictly Limited: these tend to be very small batches of young or youngish single malts and are now exclusively bottled at 47.5%. The incoming malts were all distilled between 2010-2013 and include a Teaninich fully matured in red wine barriques, sherry casked Glen Garioch and Williamson (Laphroaig) and a sherry finished Glenrothes. For the wine-averse whisky fans there’s also a Tormore matured in peated casks and a Glenburgie from bourbon barrels.
Càrn Mòr Celebration of the Cask: These are generally longer-aged single malts at full strength. There’s two of these bottlings, both from single bourbon barrels: an Auchentoshan 1998 22-Year-old at 48.6% and a Mannochmore 1993 27-Year-Old at 52.9%. Stock of both of these will be very thin on the ground, so when the time comes you'll need to be quick if you want them.
